My name is Avelina Salazar. I was born in Guatemala and I came to the United States when I was 18 years old. I am a mother of two children, grandmother of four grandchildren and married for 33 years. My son is a pastor and my daughter is the drummer. My desire is that my entire family serves God devotedly. I served for 26 years in a Foursquare Church named Pico Gardens. For several years, I was secretary of the ladies' ministry. In High Fortress Church I serve as a seating member of the board. In my free time I like to see stories from the bible, talk with my friends and family about the things of God and, at opportune times, advise young people.

What makes a woman, a woman? Is it your sixth sense? Your delicacy? Your femininity? Or is it that God made us with special purposes to be a woman? In this session, we will examine a special interaction between two totally different women, Naomi and Ruth - two generations, two cultures, two gods - united under a divine purpose of the true God. Ruth decides to undertake a call to follow Naomi's instructions, and in the end both are blessed and prepared for a successful future.
